Adriana in the Coweta Little Miss Fall Festival Pageant

This is my daughter, Adriana. Last week, she was in the Coweta Little Miss Fall Festival Pageant. She had lots of fun & really did a great job. She won best dress & the People's choice award (thanks to all our friends & family out there that sent their vote for her). We are so proud of her! I just had to post these portraits of her in her beautiful dress. Her Mimi (my mom) made this dress for her. The dress turned out gorgeous & my mom did it for me with just a few weeks notice. She also played the keyboard for Adriana during her song, "Grandpa, Tell Me 'Bout the Good Ole Days." A big thank you to you, MOM! You did so awesome... as always!!!! :)

Jessica & Doug

What a Hot Couple... LITERALLY!! LOL! It has been a few weeks since our session, but this was one of those 100 degree days! It was so hot, but Jessica & Doug did awesome. They were fun & really great sports. I did my best to make this a short & sweet session before we all melted! They are getting married in a few weeks & won the portrait session & 11x14 portrait that I donated to the silent auction at their church. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to photograph them! Baby Jaxson is adorable!!

Isn't this little one so adorable?!! I loved photographing Jaxson. I have to say that he is an awesome little sleeper! I had the chance to really experiment with this little guy & then when he woke up his expressions were priceless! As you can see he is definitely daddy's little slugger & he is ALL boy!! By the end he looks like he is mad at me for photographing him!! Typical guy! LOL! Thanks Mandy & Dustin for allowing me to photograph your little cutie! :)

Kristan-almost time!!!

I photographed Kristan a couple of weeks ago and she only has about 1 more week left until her new little miracle arrives! She is such a beautiful mother and I was honored to have the opportunity to show that in her portraits. I was actually a little sick the day of our session and I have to admit that I was definitely not feeling like being very creative, but it seemed like the more I worked with Kristan, the better I felt. She was so much fun and we really had a great session! Doesn't she look amazing? She is at the end of her pregnancy & looking like she is only half way! I think most of us girls would like to look that gorgeous while we are pregnant! I kept having to tell her to push out her belly, so that she would look more pregnant! LOL!! Thanks Kristan for a great session! I had a great time!!! :)

Facebook Fight For Brittany Fotos

Brittany Dalton, my sister-in-law, was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma almost 3 weeks ago. Since being diagnosed, her cancer became much more aggressive and she started Chemo treatments last Friday, July 16.

Because of the huge financial burden, we are all trying to pull together to raise money to help the family in this time of need. I've decided to host a 1-day benefit for Brittany and her family, Facebook Fight For Brittany Fotos. The Benefit will be a one day event on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Please put it on your calendars! All proceeds from this event will be donated to Brittany.


Details and FAQ:

What is the cost?
The donation cost is $25. This amount covers the mini session fee and your favorite small resolution image file from the session.

What is a mini session?
The mini session will be a scheduled 5-10 minute session. I will photograph about 4 to 5 images, indoor with a background. This will definitely be a photograph that you will be proud to use as your profile pic on Facebook, your website or any other social networking sites.

What is the difference between a mini session and a normal session?
Please note that a mini session is not a normal $60-$100 portrait session. A normal session does not include portraits. Normal sessions and artistic images are more expensive because clients are looking for a higher quality product. Regular sessions are from 1-3hrs, offer many locations & multiple backgrounds. The scheduled mini session will be only 5-10 minutes and I will photograph about 4 or 5 images indoor with a background. You will be proud to use this photo as your profile pic on Facebook, your website or any other social networking site.

How many people can be photographed during my session?
Since this is a mini session and is for social networking purposes, it is for one person at a time. If you want your profile photograph to be of you and one other person (for example, your spouse, child, best friend, dog, etc.,), that would be fine as well. I don't want to get into large groups unless a much larger amount is donated. Please keep in mind that this is not intended for a family portrait session. It is intended to be a fairly inexpensive and quick way for you or maybe someone you know to get a new photograph that you will be proud to display.

What kind of background will be available?
I plan to do indoor portraits with a couple of different options set up. I also have some gray fence and a tree outdoors that cold be available for your background if you are interested. You will be able to choose 1 background and I will do a few different poses during your session so you can choose your favorite image. I will try to post a few samples of the backgrounds available for the session. I will work really hard to make sure that everyone's image has a little different look to it, instead of making them all look the same. (I couldn't take that!!!)

The Dalton Family

This is my sister in law, Brittany Dalton, and her beautiful family. Brittany was recently diagnosed with stage 3, Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. Brittany told us about finding out it was cancer about 2 1/2 weeks ago and we were able to do her portrait session 1 week ago last Saturday. This was a wonderful day with Brittany & Robert and the kids. The portraits really turned out beautiful and afterward we just enjoyed ourselves by feeding the geese at the park. Little did we know that, that very evening Brittany would end up in the hospital. After some recent complications the doctors told her it looked like she has a more aggressive cancer than they originally thought. They began Chemo treatment on her last Friday, July 16 and she is now at home. Though very weak, she remains positive. Brittany has a long road ahead of her, so please keep her in your prayers. What a beautiful family!!!

Forrest- Part 2

Ok, so this has been the hardest ever... hardest one to choose my favorites!!!! Forrest has been such a great guy to photograph and we have so many great images of him. This is the second time I had the opportunity to photograph Forrest and OMG!! I have to say that I felt like I was photographing an Abercrombie ad! He is so easy to photograph and has such a great personality. I wish you and your family tons of success!! You guys are great! I hope you guys like these.
